Thank you for ordering Loyola worktexts on the TextbookHub platform. We're glad you're here!
Let's have a look at the workflow for self-onboarding:
- Loyola sends your book order to TextbookHub
- TextbookHub processes your order and uploads the book files. When all the books have been loaded into the portal, you will receive an automatic welcome email from TextbookHub.
- Using the URL and log-on details provided in the welcome email, administrators assign teachers to books. Doing so triggers an automatic welcome email from TextbookHub to the teachers. The automatic welcome email provides the teachers with the URL and their log-on credentials.
- Teachers can log onto the TBH site and roster the students. Administrators may also perform this function if that is preferable.
The Welcome Email for Administrators
This email contains all the details you need to be able to log into the TextbookHub portal and get started. That includes:
- the correct URL to use
- A log-on email address
Your temporary password follows the following schema: UniqueID_admin. Please refer to your school’s URL to locate your UniqueID. Your UniqueID is all the letters that come before .textbookhub.com in your URL. For example, if your school’s URL is abc.textbookhub.com, then your UniqueID is abc. If your school’s UniqueID is abc, then your admin password is abc_admin.

What’s Next?
The next part of self-onboarding involves rostering the students.
When you add teachers to the TBH portal, TextbookHub automatically sends them an email with all the log-on details they need. TextbookHub attaches a document with step-by-step instructions to the email. The document explains
- how to roster students in the TextbookHub portal
- how to distribute textbooks to students
PLEASE NOTE: Student rostering can be performed by administrators or teachers. If you are an administrator who wants to roster students and distribute textbooks to them, please the Rostering article
