Your account settings can be accessed through a drop-down menu within the top navigation bar. Click on your name in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. In the drop-down menu, select Account Settings. 

NOTE: Fields marked with an “ * ” cannot be edited if you are logging in through your Student Information System (e.g. Clever, Blackbaud, etc.) To edit these fields, log in through your school’s unique TextbookHub URL. 

Changing Your Name

By typing in a new name under the Name field, you will be changing the full name of your account.  This also means that the name visible in the top navigation bar will change.

*Changing Your Email Address(es)

By typing in a new email address under the “Email” field, you will be changing the primary contact email address for your account. All notifications and messages from TextbookHub (including book access approvals and group member additions) will be sent to this email address.

As an option, you can add another contact email address under the Secondary email field. In addition to your primary contact email address, your secondary email address will also receive notifications and messages from TextbookHub.

Changing Your Preferred Language

TextbookHub currently supports English, Français, Dansk, Pусский, עִברִית, Italiano, Deutsch, عربى, and Türkçe. If you would like to change your preferred system language to any of these languages, you can select a new language under the Language pull down menu. Changing languages changes all labels and the dictionary in the Textbook Hub reader to the selected language.

*Changing Your Password

To change your account password, type in your old password in the Old Password field. You must select a new password, type it in the New Password field and in the Confirm New Password field.

Hide Tutorials

You can hide the TextbookHub tutorials by selecting the checkbox Hide tutorials at the bottom of Account Settings.

Note: Once you complete any of the changes above, you must click the Save changes button for your new account settings to take effect.
