Thank you for ordering BJUP worktexts on the TextbookHub platform. We're glad you're here!
Let's have a look at the set up workflow for school administrators.
After BJUP sends your order to TextbookHub, TextbookHub must process and upload the book files. When all the books have been loaded into the portal, you will receive a welcome email from TextbookHub.
This email contains some of the details you need to be able to log into the TextbookHub portal and get started. That includes:
- the correct URL to use
- A log-on email address
What About My Password?
Your temporary password follows the following schema: UniqueID_admin. Please refer to your school’s URL to locate your UniqueID. Your UniqueID is all the letters that come before .textbookhub.com in your URL. For example, if your school’s URL is abc.textbookhub.com, then your UniqueID is abc. If your school’s UniqueID is abc, then your admin password is abc_admin.
STEP ONE:
Navigate to the log on page. It should look something like this:
You will have already received an email from TextbookHub that gives you your log on details. Enter the email address and temporary password, then click the Log In button.
STEP TWO:
You will see a screen that looks very similar to this:
Click the Back Office tab in the left-side navigation panel.
STEP THREE
The School Overview page loads. It will look similar to this:
Click on the BJUP Teacher Assignment tab in the left-side navigation panel.
STEP FOUR:
The BJUP Teacher Assignment page loads. It looks similar to this:
Click on the hyperlinked name of a specific textbook.
STEP FIVE:
A panel slides open. It looks similar to this:
Fill in the form:
- Enter the teacher’s name
- Enter the teacher’s school email address
- Click on the Add button
The teacher’s details will appear in the teacher list:
STEP SIX
Repeat this process for every teacher who will use this specific textbook during the coming school year.
STEP SEVEN
When every teacher who needs this book has been added to the teacher list, click on BJUP Teacher Assignment in the left-side navigation panel.
Now repeat the teacher-adding process for the next textbook. Keep adding teachers to the BJUP worktexts until all books are associated with at least one teacher per book.
Please Note: When you add a teacher to the teacher list, TextbookHub will automatically send them an email with all the log on details they need. TextbookHub will attach step-by-step instructions on how to add students to the TextbookHub portal and how to distribute textbooks to their students.
Please Note: TextbookHub is aware that some schools will want School Administrators to roster the teacher's classes for them. To do this. an administrator needs to log on as a specific teacher, then add their students according to the procedures outlined here.
PLEASE NOTE: There is no way to roster students from a school administrator's account. It must be done from a teacher's account.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have 10 teachers, each with a class of 30 students, you will need to log in to as a specific teacher, add that teacher's 30 students, and save your work. Then you would need to log in again using the next teacher's credentials and add that person's students, and so on. YOU SHOULD NOT TRY TO ADD ALL THE STUDENTS IN THE SCHOOL UNDER 1 TEACHER'S ACCOUNT. Book distribution will not work properly if you do this.
How Do I Get Teachers' Log in Credentials?
A teacher username consists of the email address you entered into the platform using the method outlined above.
A teacher password consists of the first part of the email address (everything before the @ sign). For example, if the teacher’s email address is teacher123@school.com, then the password is teacher123.
